Growling Old Men Duo with Ben Winship and me.  It's music boiled down to the fundamentals - just mandolin and guitar.  Always fun, and sometimes scary. Julie Elkins One of the best banjo players and singers around.  NBA scouts take note - not very good at Basketball, but a great gal none the less.  Now  residing in Raleigh, North Carolina Ben Winship Extraordinary mandolinist, singer, songwriter and musical compatriot from behind the potato curtain of Idaho John Reischman & The Jaybirds Great folks, great music.  What else could you ask for? Phil Round and Snake River Agency Great musician and music agent if you're needing the good stuff for your doin's in Jackson, WY The Foggy Hogtown Boys Great Traditional Bluegrass Band from Toronto.  These guys have made me stay up too late more than once.  You need to hear them! The Creaking Tree String Quartet Original instrumental music, performed by 4 virtuoso players from Toronto.  Awesome music and great guys too.    A LOT of fun to pick with. Malinky An incredible neo-traditional Celtic band from Edinburgh, Scotland.  I met these fine folks at the Shetland Folk Festival - an event that you should attend if there is any possible way to do it. Karine Polwart One of the finest singers I've had the honor to meet and play music with.  She's from Edinburgh, Scotland, and your life is not complete until you've heard this woman sing. Ivan Rosenberg One of the premier resonator guitarist around these days.  Now based out of Weaverville, North Carolina, he's the next big thing.  check him out! Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike A fantastic band out of Bell Buckle, TN.  These guys have it all; singing, strong musicianship, songwriting, great arrangements...the list goes on.  Be sure to check them out and their new CD "That's What Love Can Do".  Oh yeah, one of my songs is on it too! Chris Stuart and Back Country Some great friends of mine from southern California.  Writers some of the best original songs around, and just flat out clean, well performed music.  If you get a chance to catch one of their shows...Do it! Hit And Run Bluegrass Coming out of the western bluegrass mecca of Colorado's Front Range area, this is a young band that you should keep your eye on.  They have the whole talent package, and a big white van that they cruise around in. Eric Thorin Monster bass man that can play everything from Salsa to Bill Monroe.  LIving in Lyons, Colorado, Eric is a major part of the Front Range music scene.  Check him out on Open Road recordings. Hillfillies A band from Sweden that sings like they're from Heaven.  I met them at the Sore Fingers Camp in Kingham, England.  Check out their site and then buy their CD!   Equipment to make music with Proulx Guitars Some of the best acoustic guitars and mandolins you'll find.   Anywhere.  Period. Montana Rockies Bluegrass Association More motivated musicians, banding together for the common sound in Western Montana Sore Fingers Summer School A wonderful week-long school in the Cotswold area of England.  It usually happens around Easter, and is an experience like no other.
